Biography

I'm originally from Toronto, but now live in beautiful North Vancouver. My life thus far can be divided into four stages. I was first a student; second an electrical engineer; third a stay-at-home mom and fourth an artist. In my heart, I have been an artist ALL my life but it has taken me a good long time to have the courage to tell others. At a young age, I taught myself to draw by closely observing objects. In high school, I studied photography. Once my kids were in upper elementary school, I started painting. I developed my painting skills through trial-and-error, reading books, watching videos and mentorship. When I am not creating art, I love to hike.
